Plants vs. Zombies

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but am having a ball nonetheless.

Could someone explain to me how best to employ the Chomper? Eating zombies is awesome, but it just doesn't seem to fit anywhere.

Thats a good question since I've rarely used them either. I guess they're handy for spot defending your important plants from Diggers or Bungee's.

Mostly finished the game myself. I'm still working on getting the last few achievements.

I'm only at 3-5 or so in Adventure Mode, just picked up the Threeshooter.

I zombie was easy. bowling is hard.

The Threeshooter was another one I rarely used. Seemed safer to just spend the money on three single peas (one zombie gets through and you suddenly have three rows undefended). My fav is the Torchwood. With one of those babies even a single pea can kick zombie butt.

I had the oppsite problem. Bolwling was easy. I Zombie is tough. And one of the minigames standing between me and one of the achievements.

If you want to use the chompper place one behind a tall nut or those nut things. You can also have like two in a row and place a pumkin over the first one.

I love this game. I beat it in less than a week. What's the highest level anybody has gotten on survival? I got like 30 something.

Ugh, I just made my first shop purchase at 3-8 or so. I picked up Twin Sunflower instead of the 8-slot upgrade as I thought it was an upgrade to the existing Sunflower rather then a separate and more expensive plant altogether.

I'm only at 3-5 or so in Adventure Mode, just picked up the Threeshooter.

I'm getting a lot of use out of the Threeshooter actually, it's the only shooter I'm using at this stage. I just picked up Torchwood, will be interesting to see how I can get the firing arcs to line up...

There are apps which will help you money farm. Don't know if you are interested in that.

Aww don't worry. Trust me, the twin sunflower comes in VERY handy later in the game.

Apps are okay. But I find its just as easy to build up the Zen garden, get Slimy hopped up on caffine then run the game in a window in the background while I do my web browsing.

I haven't gotten far in it. I don't like the fact that it's 800x600 only. Also it's extremely clicky. I got a lot more mileage out of the 5 dollar deal for Defense Grid: The Awakening. But maybe I should go back and give it another try.

Yeah, found that out. I rage when an upgraded Sunflower gets taken by a Bungee though. On my second attempt at 5-9 I got beaten by the Gargantuan's Imp. His Imp!

How funny. I jut started playing Plants v. Zombies a few weeks ago myself, and I was just thinking, "hey, I wonder if there's a topic here about it..."
