Well, not quite, but advance info from BBC Radio 7 is listing Doctor Who - The Commentaries for Planet of the Dead to run that weekend, which seems a bit of a giveaway. Not that it's a major surprise, but...

I think we all knew it would be Easter, we still don't know for sure quite when though--Easter isn't one day after all...

do we know when the BBC Radio 4 Torchwood episdoes will be yet?

hell do we know when Torchwood: Lost Children will be yet?

The Beeb have been calling it the "Easter Special" for a while now.
And RTD himself said in DWM that even though they were doing that, they didn't actually know if it would air that weekend or not. So this is indeed useful news.

i believe Torchwood may be airing over the summer.

as for Who clashing with RD, i doubt it. because Dave'll probably be airing RD at 9PM at the earliest. besides, they'll prolly re-run it.

No (to both).
So far as the latter goes, assuming it is going to be run across one week at 9pm, it can't be in the next fortnight, as Mistresses still has the Tuesday 9pm slot for both weeks.
Programme info for the week starting 28th March doesn't show anything in any of the weekday 9pm slots, so if could run that week. But equally, it doesn't mention Torchwood either - not even as an 'unplaced programme', of which there are several which could end up in the 9pm slots.
If it doesn't run that week, then it could run the next week, in the run-up to Easter & Planet of the Dead, or in the week after that. If it's not run by then, the chances are that Ashes to Ashes will have started its second run, and Torchwood wil have to wait 8 weeks until that's over - which would fit with what BBC America have said about running it in synch with BBC1, but not before May.
As a side note, holding it back would mean that the Monday episode wouldn't clash with Heroes at 9pm Monday on BBC2 - which has got to be bad scheduling.

^^^ A 3 part story? How long is each part, half an hour? When I first heard about this I thought there was just going to be one new episode with a couple of specials. This sounds better, although maybe they just split up the single episode.

At any rate, that'll be a great weekend! And, I'm not even into Easter!

There was originally talk of a 1 hour special, with a behind the scenes, they then announced it would be a 2 half hour episodes, with a weird not sets or FX episode, and a behind the scenes. But then Doug Naylor found he couldn't fit it all in the 2 parts, so they cancelled the no sets or FX episode and made it at 3 parter instead. Being on a commercial channel though it'll be half an hour including ads.

^^ I'm not clear, what's a not sets or FX episode? Just the actors? Is that what we'll get? Thanks and sorry about the diversion from Doctor Who!
