Pizza Hut's "The Natural" Pizza - Crap

All Pizza Hut pizzas are comprised of the cardboard box with a little tomato sauce and cheese sprinkled on top of it.

Enjoy! :bolian:
I dont think you have had a standard Pan Pizza. Those are "teh best". But as for this Natural crap. And what they served it to a bunch of people at an art museum or something in the commercial and those bozos couldnt tell it tasted like Pizza Slut? C'mon give me a break...

Dominos is god awful. I wouldn't feed it to my worst enemy. I could be starving and pass it up. The dough tastes like cardboard, the sauce irritates the roof of my mouth, the toppings are scarce, greasy and taste like they've been in a refrigerator for a month, and the cheese is rubbery and greasy. Horrible, horrible pizza.

J.

Would you believe that Dominos exported their awfulness?

They opened in Australia a few years back and still around (which is more than Qiznos managed) and people here widely regard their pizzas are crap.

Ah, international mediocrity.

No kidding. All national chain pizzas are for either people who live where there's nothing else, or younger people who don't know any better.

Some are better than others, but none of them are as good as a local place. And thanks to sites like Yelp, you don't even have to play the phone book crapshoot.

"The Natural" pizza makes no sense to me. I'm not going to Pizza Hut because I want health food. I'm going there for their crust, cheese, and toppings, which I almost always enjoy.

As for chain vs. local, I will agree that the best chain pizza does not measure up to the best local pizza. However, I find most of the chain pizzas pretty good on their own, and the factors of time, money, and/or distance can conspire to make the chain the better choice on a given day.

I avoid Pizza Hut. Back in High School my friends literally ate at Pizza Hut everyday for lunch. It was both the closests place to eat and we loved pizza. Plus, with their personal pan pizzas ready in 5 minutes it was fast enough to eat during lunch. I graduated from HS over 20 years ago but to this day I cannot stand to eat at Pizza Hut.

I haven't liked Pizza Hut for about 6 years now. The best Pizza in my area is Rosatti's, it's become kind of a ritual on Friday nights here. :D
Man, I haven't eaten Pizza Hut in almost 13 years, and Domino's even longer. Both are super greasy, and the latter is like cardboard with tomato paste on it. I prefer Little Caesar's, but when possible, a Mom and Pop place is the best. Papa John's is good, but hella 'spensive.

Worst marketing ploy ever. It makes it sound like the other options on the menu are artificial and unholy and possibly made from petroleum and coal extracts.

Seriously now, I order "100% natural" sausage as opposed to "traditional" sausage what is the difference? Is one actually made from pork-meats and the other from rejects from the injection-molding plant?

Same with the cheese. "100% natural" is made with cows milk while the "traditional" comes from the Glues-All factory?

What next? McDonald's announcing 100% Beef Patties for burgers in addition to the "Traditional McMeat Burger?" Starbucks announcing "100% natural coffee" instead of the brewed and filtered motor-oil they currently serve? Yeeech.

"Natural" means the concerned products are made from sources that have no artificial additives in them like hormones, antibiotics, growth stimulants, pesticides, etc.

The Cassanos in my home town in Ohio is still the best. I have eaten there ever since I was a little boy and the pizza stays the same. Whenever I go back there to visit my parents I always stop and get a slice of pepperoni.

That'll learn you for sullying the name of pizza by ordering it from one of these cardboard kitchens.

Life is too short, and stomachs too small, to bother with bad pizza. When we are blessed with such joys as Round Table and all the various local pizza dives, I see no reason (other than cost) to go elsewhere.

I've actually been craving a thin crust peperoni from Pizza Hut...then again it's been ages since I've actually eaten there.

I guess Godfather's Pizza places are all gone now. :(

Now that's some good pizza. Used to have one up on the strip in Knoxville (IRC). Went there a few times when my grandmother was in the hospital. I had heard that one had closed, but I didn't know the whole chain was gone.

In my experience, one of the best ever was a place in Oak Ridge Tennessee called "Big Ed's" great pizza, fresh made, old school, mom and pop joint stunt in the corner of an old strip mall. Now that was years ago, I don't know if they're still around or not.

Top of the line though was a little corner joint a friend took us to when we were visiting Chicago a few years back; best damn pizza ever-- never got the name of the place, or I'd recommend it. The small was huge, had a flavor and texture that just...heaven in a pizza pan.
