The Ambassador to Earth espechally, one time he literally srormed off in the middle of a conversation to go sulk like a child.

Whats with these people?

Because Vulcans do have emotions, whether you like it or not. They just try to hide them.

More violent than humans, too, per T'Pol. Must take serious effort to repress their emotions enough to even have a functioning society, much less deal with doltish humans. That's where the logic fetish comes from - it's the Vulcans way of dealing with the rather nasty hand evolution and fate has dealt them.

All the rest - the snottiness, arrogance, passive-aggressive jerk-ness, superiority complex - makes perfect sense once you see what's driving it underneath.

The Romulans also make sense. They've just used xenophobia rather than logic as their coping mechanism.
