Piranha 3-D the sequel: Piranha 3-DD

Great, GREAT, title. There's genius at work, right there.

I didn't see the recent remake. The original is pretty good though (for what it is) and I didn't mind the sequel.
 
Looks like some cheesy fun yet again. Too bad Elizabeth Shue isn't back in some capacity.

I do like that Katrina Bowden is in it.
There is also a bit of a Smallville reunion going on with Alison Mack and Sam Jones III both having a bit part. Wonder if it's in the same scenes?

This movie is going to get looked over during the summer slate but it looks like 4th wall breaking fun.
 
The only reason I'll watch the DVD (on order from the library) is because of Allison Mack, who is listed as being in it.

Poor girl must've been desperate for a paycheck!

As the lead up to the June 1 release is now upon us Dimension is releasing two new TV spots onto the airwaves. Check them out at the link.

In a not quite surprising tie-in the site Funny Or Die has a, well, mockumentary(?) on the making of the film.

It's NSFW as there is about a 3-4 second clip of the films title assets on bare display.
