So I have finally started going through my pictures from Tuscany. Here's a shot of the place we stayed at. The top left window of the shorter building was our suite.

I agree. They were the most vulcan-like ones I could find without them being yellow and/or on eBay

Nothing wrong with the elvish look. I think the combination of the ears and the hair is well done indeed, and hides any unsightly join that might be present.
But then again, my avatar does have the Gok Wan glasses on, so I don't know what to think anymore...
