Outfit #2: Doesn't quite work. And the horizontal stripes don't go for everybody.

While I don't agree with the Willow comparison, I do think that outfit isn't all that great, and I blame that entirely on the tights. Lose those and she's good to go.
They look okay in the 3rd pic, but that's because the boots cover up the bottom.

I don't think Bears posted those in order to be critiqued. Fair enough when the poster specifically asks for that, as has been done here in the past... but Bears did not.
Of course, when someone chooses an outfit, it would be very odd if 100% of the people loved it madly, but if you don't like it, best thing is to not say anything at all, right? She's already bought the damn things, and said herself she really likes this fashion, how does that invite these self-satisfied kind of comments?
Last time I checked, none of us here are the last word in fashion. It's all a matter of personal choice. If I want to post myself wearing sackcloth, it's not really anyone's place to negatively nor condescendingly comment as though they are god's word on the subject. How rude and patronising.
