Nice picture, dining in style that's for sure. Is it a castle? The rounded window has me in doubt, or it's redone later. It all fits together, furniture, lights, ceiling, walls and not to forget the glasses on the table. Someone is good at home decorating! I have to ask: is this in the UK?

Actually, they're engraved and painted stone tablets. I do have some papyrus, but I don't have them displayed anywhere. My apartment is eclectically decorated: I also have clay African and Mesoamerican masks on the walls and the Declaration of Independence.

Sounds nice. That reminds me I should post a few mask pictures from that amazing traditional mask museum I visited in Zacatecas, Mexico. One of them looks like a wookie!
My own decoration is mostly ethnic rugs and other texiles, a Zao-Wou-Ki poster, and a couple of clay jars, one of which is mesoamerican. A little bunch of multicoloured ears of corn in the kitchen.

Not a castle, just my parents' house. It's in northern Italy.
Thanks for the compliments! My mother is very fond of setting a perfect table at every occasion.

Yes, it is the biggest cruise ship ever built. It will be surpassed by the Oasis of the Seas when it launches in late 2009.
