I feel inspired to post this...
My Baby Zee - as cute as she looks, she's watching another kid getting mauled by a swan on the other side of the pond.
Make sure that you're being as proactive as possible in attempts to change the situation. Fat "acceptance" seems unhealthy to me. Rather, we should all (and I'm a more rotund person who could stand to heed my own advice) strive to be as healthy as possible. If you're uncomfortable about your own fitness, it behooves you to take steps to change the situation, and perhaps pouring your frustrations with this thread into an exercise regimen would be both physically and emotionally healthy. I know it certainly helps me to rev the exercycle a little harder when I've had a bad day.Forgive me, it was an observation on the deafening silence and sense of invisibility (and not just wrt me).
It's not something I want to start a huge thing about. Just an observation about what I perceive to be a telling difference between the quantity and nature of comments on particular female bodies as opposed to othersTBBS isn't to blame, it's just a cross-section of our current culture. Which is why I still luv ya.
Forgive me, I just got done blogging on my fat acceptance activist site. So I was a bit on edge. I'll delete the comment, since I've been making an effort to reduce my personal baggage on this messageboard (though that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be less political
).
It also behooves those around you to support your fitness goals and to encourage you to achieve them.
In short, if you're uncomfortable being the size you are, don't accept it, do something about it.

Unfortunately, I have no kitten pictures to present you folks with. However, my mom just emailed me some pictures of kitten disasters thaat I think you guys may enjoy. You can see his posession has already taken over Hockey Girl. See the faint red glow in her eyes? It's setting in.
I, for one, welcome our new spaniel and hockey-hottie overlords.
I did try red-eye fix, but that turned my eyes black and looked even worse!
