Don't feel bad, Elmo - I'm incredibly sexy, a smoldering and virile volcano of machismo, and yet no one has commented on my recent pix upthread.

Forgive me, it was an observation on the deafening silence and sense of invisibility (and not just wrt me).

It's not something I want to start a huge thing about. Just an observation about what I perceive to be a telling difference between the quantity and nature of comments on particular female bodies as opposed to others TBBS isn't to blame, it's just a cross-section of our current culture. Which is why I still luv ya.

Forgive me, I just got done blogging on my fat acceptance activist site. So I was a bit on edge. I'll delete the comment, since I've been making an effort to reduce my personal baggage on this messageboard (though that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be less political ).

^True that. And confidence - one mustn't forget confidence. I think many people, of either gender, think that confidence is quite a sexy trait, regardless of a body that does or does not conform to the current "perfect" ideal.

Today was my store's last day. Everyone is now jobless as of now. We decided to have one last group pic of the employees still left, and I decided to swipe a certain sign we had still, and take a certain letter of another letter...anyway, it was a bittersweet night to say the least.

I should be able to get a new job at another Circuit City in San Francisco. It's about 50 miles away as opposed to the 10 that my former store was but I will be able to carpool. Also, I will keep looking for a closer job in the meantime. Who knows how long *that* Circuit will stay open, anyway.

Thanks Bears. It feels weird having *nothing* to do right now, as I'm also on holiday break from school. I'm really hoping my transfer goes through and I can work at the San Francisco store, at least until I find something closer to home.

Well I've got that in spades! I don't lie much at all, I discovered a long time a got that if you lie too much it gets hard to keep all the stories straight.

That was my original plan when Cooper was the only baby in the picture! But since they won custody of Gia as well, I haven't been able to babysit. Mom and Dad feel guilty subjecting me to both babies at the same time.

Plus the only time they really need babysitters are when they both have to work, and since we all work at the same place, I'm usually unavailable.
