A Christmas tree with the Star of David.
/.../
...just looking again, not quite the Star of David.
/.../

The traditional top of the christmas tree in these parts is a star -symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem I suppose- many designs exist, usually with five or six points.

I love Christmas. It's my favorite time of year.
J.
Mine too!

I

the sentiment, the food, the drink, the smells, the lights, the cookies, the mulled vine, the presents (might sound strange; I really love giving these, it's a great chance to give something that comes from the heart rather than the wallet!), the decorations, did I mention the food?, marzipan…

But I really won't even start thinking x-mas till December!

It starts early for me because I cherish every minute of it, and late October I get excited, and in early November, I start getting ready. :D :D :D

As Saturday was B-day (or as they call it in Copenhagen: J-day) the day the "JuleBryg" (~Yule-Brew) is released; I must admit that the season is upon us… :rommie::rommie:

Edit:
Speaking of christmas; Ruaidhri, that would be a great picture for the b/w avatar week! (first week of December).

Indeed it is. Here's a pic of the living room w/ fireplace, christmas movie, tree and dog snugly in bed:

And the tree beside my computer desk: :D

It dances when the printer's running. ;)

^ :rommie: Cool.

I love Christmas too but I can't even think about putting up a tree until after Thanksgiving. I am OCD after all.

Maybe I will post some pics when I put mine up. I can show off my new apartment when I do. :bolian:

B Day? J Day? How about BJ Day? I could get behind that.

Am I the only one who thinks it's a little gauche that the other thread was closed without any warning or discussion of a successor? It's less a principle thing, and more just the surprise of it. My heart kind of jumped when I saw that it was closed.

Anyway, this one's off to a good start. :techman:

*breaks champagne bottle over thread*
Dear diary.

What a day! A totally unexpected Gauche Attack in TrekBBS (Misc) had poor old Philo all of a twitter - I'll swear he emitted a high-pitched squeak before getting an attack of the vapours and fainting away.

It'd never happen if David Niven was in charge, I can tell you.

Are you accusing me of the dreaded Hysteria?! :shifty:

Junior and Phoebe getting acquainted.

He's by far the smallest kitten I've ever seen.

Max is pretty curious about the new guy.

Just about the cutest thing ever: Chester and Phoebe..they actually slept like that for a few hours.

Just thought this was really cute, too.
