Ithe sentiment, the food, the drink, the smells, the lights, the cookies, the mulled vine, the presents (might sound strange; I really love giving these, it's a great chance to give something that comes from the heart rather than the wallet!), the decorations, did I mention the food?, marzipan…

It starts early for me because I cherish every minute of it, and late October I get excited, and in early November, I start getting ready.

I love Christmas too but I can't even think about putting up a tree until after Thanksgiving. I am OCD after all.

Dear diary.Am I the only one who thinks it's a little gauche that the other thread was closed without any warning or discussion of a successor? It's less a principle thing, and more just the surprise of it. My heart kind of jumped when I saw that it was closed.
Anyway, this one's off to a good start.

What a day! A totally unexpected Gauche Attack in TrekBBS (Misc) had poor old Philo all of a twitter - I'll swear he emitted a high-pitched squeak before getting an attack of the vapours and fainting away.

Ours has always been marketed in bottles with a blue metallic collar and were therefore commonly known as "Blålys" [~Blue Light -it's a reference to fireworks
] But in Copenhagen they have a different brew.
