For the last few years, images like these have been popping up around the city centre of where I live. I really liked the style of them so began taking pictures whenever I saw one. Unfortunately, my last phone which I had been using to record them went kaput last year and I had to start over. Even more unfortunately, some of them had been painted over by that point so I wouldn't even be able to look at them on my phone any more.
Still, it's always great when I spot a new one down some filthy backlane or on the side of a charity shop!

I've seen some and assumed something like stencils were used to make the image.
Which cheapens it IMO. I could do that.

Looks like Banksy. His work can go for like a quarter million now. And local government are no longer allowed to paint over his pieces. He's the only graffiti artist who's been recognised as an "artist" and is "protected".
The content is the point (mostly anti-establishment stuff), stencils merely enabled him to undertake larger more complex works, and complete them in a shorter time, as he always ran the risk of being nabbed by the police mid-spray, as it were.
And just to keep on topic, pretty food and drink to come home to, after a long trying week...
