I have been up for approximately 43 of the last 48 hours. I've been sandbagged on the production of the next issue of my magazine, because my main writer no-called / no-showed yesterday, and didn't show up until 3 p.m. today, during an issue for which he had three 1,500-word assignments and several 500 - 700 word assignments. (Sounds like a lot, but not when you're on a bi-weekly production schedule.)

I'm still waiting on a few more briefs from him before I can put this issue to bed. Usually I've done this six or seven hours ago.

I am not happy. And I'm really quite tired. I imagine my pupils are dilated beyond belief.

And I get to be back in my office by 8:15 this morning, in order to make last-minute corrections before uploading the issue to my print company's server. Yay.

Lifting never seems to me to be discipline, I do it because it seems natural for me to...its been 10 years since I got back in the gym. The food part of it is what takes real discipline.
