Here's one from tonight, just felt like snapping one...the way things are looking, it's probably one of the last times you'll see me in that uniform shirt, too. :(

^^ And he asks, innocently : "Guys, do you think I'm hot? You tell me."
I'm liquefied.

For those of us not LA local, I'm assuming you gals live in/near LA, was this a chance encounter? Were one of invited to some event and got the other in? Did he just show up and a "common" local bar/eatery where you two would have been anyway?
Ladies you both looking stunning as always but if you are in LA does Chris really need that scarf?
^^His neck must be covered with hikkies.
I gathered that this was at some kind of convention.
I notice that only the ladies have red eyes from the flash: dilated pupils. Chiefly from the wine, or the hottie?
He, on the contrary, could be both sober and gay.

All right, now, I've been very idle today, so the moods game is back.

(Good luck finding a new job, man...)

^ A pity we don't have our own Trek bbs employment forum... If I ran a business, I'd hire you in an instant. :)

If I was on welfare, I'd probably do better!

I don't! For the amount that I get, if I was working 40 hours a week, I'd be making $3.30/hour. Even if you recalculated that to 20 hours part time, It'd still be less than the minimum wage ($8.50), which itself has been claimed to be below the so-called 'living wage'. Now, to equalize the amount I'm getting with the minimum wage, it would mean I'd be working 15 hours a week, or approximately eight days a month.

Now, I'm not complaining. My point is that being on welfare is not even remotely close to being a free ride, and although there are some pretty sweet extra benefits I get, such as 100% free prescription drug coverage (though the public plan covers 80% minus deductible) and dental coverage (after a certain amount of time), obviously I'd rather be working and earning a decent wage. :techman:

Nope, nothing yet. I sent out about 4-5 job apps last night alone, though.

It's hard man. I've been looking for 3 months. Don't give up.

Agreed on both. I'm still on unemployment, so I'm in okay shape, but I'd rather work for more money. The problem is getting a decent job that pays more than unemployment around here.

I hear you, preacher man. I recently got on unemployment, but like you said, i would love to work for more money.

You can add me to the list of people that would rather be working!
