So the rain made the Renaissance Fair pretty much a bust (except for my new hat)... pretty disappointing b/c it was our first one.

Luckily we found a FREAKIN HUGE Wine store (converted supermarket) on the way back from Raleigh:

No party... Not enough friends here in NC (just got here 10Mar)... We just like a bottle of wine or a couple beers with dinner.

The sad part is that that was just 3 weekends ago, and by last Thursday we were bone dry.

It was a chocolate cake with a fudge frosting. It was epic!

My best friend and I at the Chicago Cubs Home Opener! It was in the low 30s and raining the whole time. At one point the rain turned into snow and then back into rain again. We were cold and miserable, but it was still an awesome time.

This picture got posted on Cubs.com! You should all order a mousepad and/or coasters with me and my friend on them!
