But usually those kind of covers are more abstract, where this feels like it's supposed to be a specific scene.

FWIW They haven't posted the covers at any of the usual places (their Facebook, startrekromane.de etc.).
But the covers on Amazon fit the pattern of the previous releases so I guess while they propably aren't 100% final, they are pretty close to the final product.
