Omnibuses, please. "Omnibus" is Latin is a plural adjective ending in -ibus, not a singular noun ending in -us. As a singular noun, it's English (short for "omnibus edition") and should be pluralized by English rules.

Cross CUlt has released some new cover drafts over the last few weeks:

And another one of their character portraits for the NF books' spines, Takahashi:

I just checked Memory Beta, and they do have a picture of him from one of the comics with blond hair.

It completely slipped my mind that this thread existed, or I would've mentioned my model of the Sagittarius from Vanguard and Seekers when I finished it last month.

I suppose the big never-before-seen element would be that I did nose art for five of the other Archer-class ships. The Archer uses the UESPA arrowhead (on the starboard side instead of the port, because I didn't want it to be pointing backwards). The Bowman has a stylized bow-and-arrow which may or may not resemble a certain pattern of reflections in a certain red camera lens belonging to a certain Jupiter-bound computer. The Huang Zhong has his name in Chinese. The Merida has a celtic-knot styled bear paw which I think looks goofy as hell, but I felt committed once I started exploring the concept, and none of the classier alternatives I could think of would fit within the space available on the ship. The Montana was tricky to pick, but I wanted to include all the featured Archers at a minimum, and once I realized I'd already gone one-degree-of-separation further from the archery theme with the nose art for the other ships anyway, I just took the bison skull from Montana's state quarter, without worrying about trying to figure out what the name "Montana" has to do with archery in the 23rd century.

Oh, I also rigged the "umbrella" style retraction of the landing gear, but I haven't done an animation showing that yet.
