Pick a new uniform color (s)

I actually like the current grey shouldered uniforms. They look professional and functional. I think away team uniforms should have more of a utility look with boots and all but as for day to day starship life, the current uniforms look great.

Mid-thigh is a miniskirt.
I consider a "mini skirt" to be a skirt that is above the mid point of the thigh, usually considerably above.

Tha mini skirts in the original series were nowhere near mid thigh.

Second comment first, all true. Uhura's was, in fact, a micro-mini.

But no matter what you yourself consider it, from the beginning a miniskirt was considered anything above the knee, a midi between knee and calf length, and a full length skirt somewhere around the ankles. This hasn't changed much in the last few decades.

The female figure is a little too big and tall.

This is not a body-positive comment, sir.
My comment had nothing to do with being "body-positive." It's just that one image (the female figure) wasn't exactly to scale with the other (the uniform).

Obviously, he's only claiming that the figures in the two superimposed images are incompatible for the intended purpose of the illustration, as indicated in the underlined part:

Those images do not line up well. The female figure is a little too big and tall.
Exactly.

Ugh, forget it. I think the humor glands around this place have shriveled due to lack of use.

Or our "humor glands" were working perfectly and correctly identified the joke as both unfunny and in poor taste. You decide!

I think we all know why Starfleet uniforms 'really' had color: to sell color TVs. A 'real' Starfleet would probably not have color on its unis. They'd be (and I shudder to even mention this) more like the ones on BSG. I mean, when you get right down to it, of what practical use could different division colors possibly be? Every member of the crew will know what division they're in, and those not on the ship won't care. So the uniform colors are surely only for us, the viewers. Because they look cool. So there. :p

Well, if they can use purple, then so can Starfleet, dagnabbit!
