Professor Marr: That thing is a killing machine, it killed thousands and if given a chance it will kill again.

Picard: It's just feeding itself, plus imagine if we could COMMUNICATE with it.

Picard: The things that it could tell us!!!


Marr and Riker: Thousands of people died.


Picard: So? Who gives a damn?
