Picard vs Khan

Kahn had a Genius level mind, and super strength. Worf would have been no match. He could out think almost anyone. I believe Picard could beat Kahn only if he had Data with him. Kahn was more similiar to Lore than Dukat.

Picard would have Khan chase him into the holodeck, where Picard would run a program where 1000 Eugenics Wars supermen are under his (Picard's) control, and he would unleash them upon Khan.

Why is it everyone says that Khan was so intelligent? If memory recalls, in the movie The Wrath of Khan, Captain Spock points out that while Khan was cunning, his thinking was merely two dimensional. Khan had a great weakness, and that was his huge ego. In the end, it was his demise.

Mr Worf: Sir, the USS Reliant is not responding to hails.
Picard: Raise Shields as according to Starfleet protocol.

Khan: Shit!

It would be most interesting to see Picard go up against the Khan of Space Seed. The one who would sit down with his opponent over dinner, and view the ensuing conversation as every bit the tactical engagement that a shipboard battle might be. Actually sounds like a better foe for the diplomat Picard than for Kirk.

The Khan of ST2 was a bit of an idiot. Of course, it might still be nice to watch him flail about in the face of someone who actually demonstrates intelligence, instead of just bragging about it.

Picard would crush Khan.

The man has a maneuver named after him. They make cadets learn it at the Academy.
Unfortunately, the Picard Maneuver doesn't work in real life.

Yes, you can outrun your reflected photons using warp drive. However, if you wanted to appear in two places at once -- thanks to outrunning your photons -- you're not going to be able to do it in any practical way. Let's say you wanted a single second; you'd have to warp from lunar orbit to near-Earth orbit. The problem is obvious; your starship isn't going to be naked eye visible in lunar orbit from near-Earth orbit. It's going to be incredibly obvious what you've just done.

The only way the Picard Maneuver, as we saw it in "The Battle," can work is this -- the speed of light in the Star Trek universe has to be ridiculously slow, on the order of a few meter per second, not the 300,000 km per second it is in our universe.
