We hear them frantically say '4 life signs' and Shaw says something like 'get them all we're pretty much a hotel at this point' and then we see the 3 beamed back and they don't seem concerned that Beverly isn't there. I guess they assumed she was sent to sickbay. Perhaps there is something built into the transport that picks up cryo-pods and beams them straight to sickbay. It felt strange to me at that moment..
Of course, it would be a little strange to see the 3 men and a giant cryostasis chamber to the transporter.

We saw that the Titan's sensors/monitors detected her life signs were critical so they beamed her directly to sick bay. It's been done before.

I remember that scene from back in 1982 (music and all)...

I'm thinking Shaw is going to come around and keeping his sardonic humor but helping the crew and perhaps will be the next Star Trek iteration.

Have we already forgotten that SNW installed and made canon a specific Emergency Medical Transporter on the Enterprise.

    TOS be damned.

All Star Fleet ships have one now.

They all be the dramatization. When the next iteration Trek's 23rd Century comes along it wont look exactly like TOS or SNW, either

Yup, they all be dramatization. Treating it as strict literal history is too much of a headache.

Those are the kind of "headaches" I'd prefer to get.

I have too many in my real life. Why do I make fiction watching a head ache?
