This is at the infamous location of Galordone Core. Where Picard is looking for Geordi on the planet surface, while a Romulan operative fights for his life in Sickbay. Picard has to keep the Romulans from entering the Federation Territory to pick up their fallen comrade.
Picard is talking to Tomalak on the viewscreen when Tomalak threatens to enter the Neutral Zone.
Picard, in his best authoratative voice "Commander Tomalak let me be prefectly clear, Romulan warships do not enter Federation Space unless they are prepared to do battle." So calm, so cool yet powerful enough to know he ain't kiddin'! ( I have been repeating that line for the past three days now...)
That's why Picard was the man (and the show was so enjoyable) Picard was just always so much in tune with the character. He never overacted, he just played the part of Picard perfectly.
Even the talk with Worf in the ready room, he really wants Worf to help save the Romulan but Worf won't budge an inch. Picard knew if he ordered Worf to save the guy then he would, but Picard wouldn't do something like that. Even if it put the rest of the Enterprise in danger, Picard knew it was more important to support his team. Because if it did come to blows between the Warship and the Enterprise, the blame could fall to Worf or Picard. But I agree with Picard.
Even the line by the Romulan was great...."I would rather die than pollute my body with Klingon filth."
Man, every so often I think my love affair with Star Trek is wanning, then I see a great episode and it brings me right back.
