I guess they don't want people to find it too easy to pack up their photos and leave.
shivkala, you have experienced what I've been experiencing for probably about a decade now: Nobody wants to talk to you anymore; they're either auto-generated replies or some shitty A.I. program that scans it and thinks it knows what you want and then send a more sophisticated (if that's even possible...) auto-generated reply. I supposed this is to cut down on employees for customer service.
Same thing when calling a company. You get some fucking computer voice with menu options that don't quite help, and a good portion of the time it asks you to repeat yourself 'cause it can't understand you -- and I don't speak sloppily. I used to mash "0" until I got an operator, but now that can conflict has the number zero is also used as a menu option, so you just have to keep askng angrily for the "Operator!!!" until it finally says it'll transfer you. And at that point it's 50/50 whether you get somebody from your country or some guy in India who may or may not speak clearly and fully understand what you are saying, and is way way way to apologetic about things.
You see, I did the opposite. I uploaded a ton of pictures to Photobucket until I was just below the maximum. Then I signed out and deleted my auto login. I too put their emails into spam. Why not just take up space on their servers. In fact I'm thinking about just opening additional accounts and uploading tons of pictures to take up space. Honestly, I don't have the time but it would be fun to do. So my account will just sit there, as now I moved over to PostImage and I'm really happy.
Has anyone been able to use the download folder function in the last day or two?
Plus, everything smells like pumpkin spice.![]()

The down!glad function did not work for me yesterday or today. I thought I had deleted all my photos but still had the folders that had been connected to my mobile account. It wouldn't let me down!oad the folders so I had to do it one by one.
We already have a poster doing this bit. Sorry.Yeah what's with the pumpkin spice? Where did that craze start from? I blame you guys in the USA because it started here last year.
Thanks. I'm going to try that.It doesn't work for me either. I'm trying to move to postimage.org and my initial thought was to download my albums and upload to postimage, but I found an easier way to do this:
1. If you want your photos to be organized into albums on postimage (aka galleries), create the empty galleries first.
2. Log in to Photobucket, go to an album and select the checkmark on a photo, then click Select All to select all photos in the album.
3. At the bottom will be a menu that has popped up, with blue buttons. Click on the Link button, then click the Direct field, and links to all of the photos in that album will be copied.
4. Log in to postimage, select Upload by URL, select the gallery you want to upload into, paste the links into the box, then proceed with your upload.
4. Repeat for each album.
5. Rejoice at no longer having to deal with Photobucket.
