Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension

Mostly because my son loves it, I have watched this tv movie several times now.

Its actually quite good. Phineas and Ferb is a kids show that I really like. The movie had lots of inside jokes for the adults in the audience. Some very clever stuff with sci-fi elements to it.

Anyone out there see it?

We (myself, the wife and kids) all saw it and loved it! Love P&F! The only decent thing on Disney Channel. A worthy successor to "Kim Possible," "The Proud Family" and "Lilo and Stitch: The TV Series."

I'm absolutely crazy about Phineas and Ferb. The best episodes: the time travel episode, which poked fun at all the time travel cliche's, ending with Isabella traveling back in time to prevent the entire episode from ever happening in the first place; and The Chronicles of Meap, which tossed in several sci-fi lines from Star Trek, Star Wars, Alien, and I think The Matrix, among others. The best line:

Stay away from her....Mitch!

I caught some glimpses of the TV show in the laundromat. (I'm not sure why they have the Disney channel on in the laundromat.) Now, maybe I was just numbed into submission by a procession of crappy reruns of Hannah Montana & The Suite Life, but I thought Phinneas & Ferb was pretty flippin' brilliant. It's one of those very bizarre kids cartoons that brings a rare sense of deadpan humor to it that I doubt anyone under the age of 25 can truly appreciate. It reminds me of The Emperor's New School or Freakazoid or Histeria!; an unholy fusion of Bugs Bunny meets Arrested Development.

We love Phineas and Ferb at our house, my 9 year old son introduced us to it about a year ago, it has some truly funny jokes and pretty good music. My 2 year old daughter goes up to my son all the time and says "Hey 'brubber', watcha doin?" It drives him nuts.
We also caught a frog this summer and named him Agent F.
