Poor Jennifer Lopez. The new mom is training for a triathlon, but everyone is too busy watching the Olympics to notice.Lopez, who appeared on "Good Morning America" Aug. 18 to discuss her preparations for the Malibu Triathlon, was overheard saying after the segment that she “couldn’t understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer,” according to a GMA source. “She couldn’t come up with (eight-time gold-medal winner Michael) Phelps’ name, and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not ‘the swimmer.’ ”
Lopez is planning on donating money raised for her race to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. To help drum up attention, she started a blog to share tips on training. “Touch up makeup prior to your run” hasn’t made its way into any posts, despite Lopez being spotted arriving in Central Park with her makeup artist later in the day.

She jumped the shark a long time ago, IMO. About the time the nickname "J-Lo" came into being.

Not for me. She was pretty much a non-entity until she started dating Sean P-Diddy Puff Daddy Puffy Combs and like the piece of property she was to him he decided to give her a new name. Then she went from non-entity to ever-present annoyance in my book.

I love Jenny more then what`s his name. Jenny looks better in a swimsuit then Phelps does.

I love when the media tries to make comments people say off the record into huge controversies. Its not like she went on GMA and said Fuck Phelps. I also want it to be known that while Phelps is a great story, I care alot more about Johan Santana and the Mets and really don`t care about the Olympics. If LeBronze and Team USA finally win the Gold, thats good but it won`t be a huge event.

Possibly because when people say stuff 'off the record' it's usually not censored, nor rehearsed - it's what they really mean and feel.

Lopez can kindly get herself a warm cup of STFU, imo. I'm not a big sports nut, but nabbing 8 golds in a single olympiad will forever be a far greater athletic achievement to me than training for the "Malibu triathalon." (A name which just screams cocktails rather than hard-core athleticism). And why is she making such a big deal of the fact that she's doing it ONLY 6 months after child birth? I understand the process is strenuous, but does it really put a woman out of commission for over half a year? Or did J-Lo have one of those horrific birthing experiences that one would typically read about in the Weekly World News? :lol:

After seeing my wife go through this three times the problem is getting rid of all the fat. When women give birth they still look pregnant with all the extra fat on their bodies. This fat is supposed to support nursing the baby in times when food was scarce.

Now for most women this extra fat is just something they want to get rid of as soon as possible. It takes a lot of work.

I knew there was a reason I abhor her.

What does she bring to the table? She's a terrible actor, a worse singer, and she really isn't all that attractive.

Actors, singers, and athletes have to receive plenty of attention in order to keep bringing home the bacon. When they're the center they'll get all the endorsements, the good parts in movies, we'll go to their concerts, etc... For the last 17 days we have been neglecting the actors and singers of the world. How will they be able to handle it?
