PG-13 scifi/Horror Movies That Prove the Rating Doesn't Matter

I suppose, although the general inferiority of most product is not genre-specific and simply seems a feature of the movie industry generally. Like how one imagines romantic comedies are the confessions of those who can't write genuine emotion, or vapid action films those who can't write genuine thrillers. But all those secondary writers have found their niche, delivering on something the audience seems to want even if it's not the best iteration of the genre. So long as slashers, romantic comedies and shoot-'em-ups sell, there will people deliberately writer to cater to those conventions.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

I just remembered that one of my favorite horror movies is one of the first movies to ever receive the PG13 rating back in 1984: Dreamscape. Scary and lots of fun.
