Petition to bring back Janeway

Janeway should come back! The question is how? I've seen several fanfics dealing with this dilemma. What other ways do you see?

you have at least two books before that can happen. but at this time there are no plans to bring her back. the best thing to do is write a letter (as many have) to TPTB @ pocket books. i doubt they would pay much attention to a poll here.

Is there a reason you think Janeway should come back? Something a little more substantial than "I really like her", and hopefully something that hasn't been discussed to death in previous threads. Internet petitions alone rarely accomplish anything.

She should be brought back because she's one of Star Trek's best characters. The advantage which some people claim that her death would give to the storytelling is nothing to the loss of possibilities to come up with more great stories about her.

As for internet petitions, nothing wrong with voicing an opinion in order to try to change something bad.

There is, in fact, nothing wrong with voicing an opinion period, whether or not change can come of it.

Let's all keep that in mind.

This is not a duplicate of any existing thread. Simply because some people might attempt to turn it into a "Janeway fans vs the world" thread doesn't make the thread and the original topic of it any more the same.


Now, that being said, this does however get a closure. Due to the "No story ideas" rule, not the "Not another Janeway thread NON rule". Feel free to start up another thread without specifics on how Janeway returns, perhaps a simple "bring her back" "don't bring her back" and why (not how) type of thing.
