lotta big game companies are having sales on steam right now, check it out! Also everyday there's certain deals.

I like their reasons for staying indoors.

Picked up Bioshock 2 and Killing Floor. The latter as a gift for my brother, he claims it's far superior to Left 4 Dead.

Picked up TF2 when they were promoting their Mac update. Purchased it for 50% regular price.

Best. $10. Spent. Ever.

Yeah, already blew 50 bucks. God, I need to hold back this time but time limited deals always freak me out.
Like, if I didn't buy Serious Sam 1 last year, I could have gotten both for the same price this year.

I tell you what the Square Enix Eidos Collector's Pack would be damned appealing if I didn't already own a whole swath of those games...and was able to run Just Cause 2 on XP.

The THQ pack on the other hand...hmm...DoW 2 & Saint's Row 2 look worth the price alone...

[Edit] I caved! I actually already own some of these too (DoW 1 + expansions & Red Faction 1) plus I now own a whole bunch of crap I have no intention of installing, but it's worth it I think.

I've actually been very good at not jumping on all the sales that I might otherwise go for. Just yesterday I very specifically didn't but GTAIV despite the fact it was going very cheep because I just recently bought all the others in a sale which should be enough to keep me occupied for quite a while. Plus Saint's Row 2 was in that THQ pack and I gather it beats the balls off of GTAIV. 11Gb download mind; ouch! That one is going straight on a backup disc methinks.

Plus of course the second Monkey Island SE is coming out soon and I'll defiantly be saving some pennies for that.

Yeah I caved on the THQ pack as well, and I already own Red Faction 1 and 2 Red Faction 3, Saint's Row, DoW were the clinchers though. I just couldn't pass it up

^ I haven't gotten around to installing Red Faction 2 yet, is it worth the bother? I only found one review and I don't really trust the opinion of the guy who made it. He seemed to be more interesting in the graphics than the actual game.

I actually spent about an hour yesterday watching a bunch of video reviews of the games in that pack on IGN & GT; I had no idea what some of them were even about. Metro 2033, Frontlines, Stalker and Company of Heroes all look worthwhile to some degree or another. Titan Quest, Juiced 2, Full Spectrum Warrior, World of Zoo...not so much.
