"Paul" trailer - Simon Pegg, Nick Frost

I loved it. I don't know if it's my favorite Pegg movie because I'm very fond of Run, Fatboy, Run, but Paul was hilarious.
 
I liked it, but not as much as the Wright/Pegg films. Good, but not great.
 
I enjoyed it, not as much as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, but it was worth a matinee price. Had a couple of good laughs in it. I appreciated the jokes making fun of organized religion--but that's just me. YMMV.
 
The DVD/Blu-Ray comes out on Monday (13th June) here in the UK, so if you have multi-region capability, you can always import it instead of waiting til August.

Universal BLU-RAYS are normally region free. I've already pre-ordered my copy via Amazon UK. I wonder if the digital copy is locked into a specific region?
 
I saw this movie, and liked it, though like many other people (it seems) I thought it fell into the "good but not great" category.

Looking at that trailer now, though, I can understand why some people were not interested. That was a bad trailer.

My thought's exactly. I saw a clip earlier where Pegg said it was a joke pitch, never thought it'd get picked up but it did.

I pretty much agreed with Mark Kermode's review. The fact it was trying to be more mainstream took the edge off it a little and made the humour a bit broad in places. Pretty good, but not quite the film it could have been.
 
I thought it was not as funny as Shaun but funnier than Hot Fuzz. Not as good a movie as either though.

Still, one of the better comedies of late.
