^Yes, I agree. And Stewart's versatility as an actor enabled him to fit right into that farcical genre.

I used to think he could only play the noble, intellectual type, but when he needs to he can slip into farce. Anyone caught him in the BBC show "Extras", promoting his new show where women's clothes come off for absolutely no reason at all
