Patrick Stewart on episode of "Frasier"

Anyone see the episode of Frasier called "The Doctor is Out" in which Patrick Stewart guest stars? It's VERY amusing. Stewart plays a gay man who actively courts Frasier, who strings Stewart along because of Stewart's opera connections. Their dance together was hilarious!

Interesting how Kelsey Grammer and Patrick Stewart previously worked together in TNG with Grammer playing Captain Bateman in the episode "Cause and Effect".

Our local MyTV affiliate has Frasier on a couple times a night. I've been rediscovering how funny that show is.

Stewart and Grammer didn't work together on "Cause and Effect". Yes, they were in the episode together, but they did not, to my knoweldge, meet face to face. There would be no reason to.

Probably true. But you know what we're getting at.

Also, there was an episode on recently where Brent Spiner plays a cameo part as a passenger on an airplane in the teaser.

I was surprised he wasn't in the rest of the episode.

Was this an episode of Frasier? I'd love to see it.

Lilith goes to visit Frasier asking him to impregnate her. I don't know the episode title.

On the plane flight, she and Data...er Spiner joke about being very pale. I'm sure at least in part an in-joke playing on the fact he usually is painted white.

Spiner was in the end of that episode as well. I remember Rene Auberjonois' Frasier appearance much more clearly. He played Frasier's mentor from Harvard.

Auberjonois was hilarious as Frasier's mentor. Does anyone happen to remember the title of the episode Spiner was in?

The episode is called Lilith Needs a Favor

It is also airing Monday the 18th at 10:00am in the USA on Lifetime according to IMDB.

Fraiser was a damn good show. Much more fun than Friends. It resurrected farce single-handedly.
^Yes, I agree. And Stewart's versatility as an actor enabled him to fit right into that farcical genre.

Thanks! Unfortunately, that's season 10, which I don't think is out on DVD yet. I'll have to tape it on USA. Should be fun to watch :)

Haha I love that you're still using my Worf/Leia buns for your avatar :).

And I too, love Fraiser. My favorite character is the dad, because he adds that stability to the show.

I hope you don't mind that I'm using your Worf/Leia image -- it's hilarious and I get lots of good comments about how disturbing it is . And I agree, Frasier's dad is a great straight man on the show.

I don't care what anyone says, Friends was a disaster. After watching Seinfeld could people REALLY think Friends was funny at ALL? Please. Frasier was way better than Friends as well.

On a side note, David Hyde Pierce recently came out of the closet. I would have been more shocked if he had actually come out and said he was straight? Did anyone actually not know this? lol.

I had a gay fried that works in Hollywood, and he told me the following Frasier characters are homosexuals:

1. Niles (this was a few months before he came out). He said he was "out" in Hollywood, but not generally across the U.S..

2. Frasier's dad (I forget his character's name)

3. Bulldog. He's out all the way, as my friend said there are videos of his wedding online, or something like that.
