Patrick Stewart in Strongbow commercial

Strongbow is a alcohol cider drink (for those who don't know).

In 2015, they began their "Cider at its Bestest" campaign, featuring Patrick Stewart in a series of fantastically hilarious commercials. Today I saw a new commercial (to me) and thought I'd share.

Quite entertaining. I prefer some local, small-batch hard cider, though.

I've never seen these before but laughed a LOT, those were fantastic!! Especially when the narrator cut Sir Patrick off "Strongbow!!!".

Thank you so much for posting these!!

you people think those commercials are funny? they are um an insult to the viewer. so annoying I change the channel when one pops up.

I feel for you bud, i gave up watching terrestrial tv a few years ago, best thing i ever did, if it is not streamed from a on demand service, stored on HDD, USB, BR or DVD, it's not on the TV. :)

I did find the first one funny, love they way they cut him off. lol

I never knew Strongbow was sold in the USA...over here in the UK, it is considered a very low quality Cider.

There is a bit of a thing where actors 'cross the pond' & film adverts, they get to make a bit of cash on the side & not to appear to be selling out.

Here is a (non star trek related) example of George Clooney & Jack Black selling a type of instant coffee that was aired in the UK

Yeah Strongbow is very common here, cheap and nasty cider available everywhere. Touch it at your peril in the West Country, home of proper cider. Here it's advertised under the slogan "Bow time. Hard earned." with the theme being that you have worked really hard to deserve your glass of fizzy piss.

What is "hard" cider? Or I suppose the obvious follow-up question interests me more, what is "soft" cider?

If I had to guess, they want to advertise it as a higher alcohol content cider, since cider can begin as low as 1,2% alcohol content. That's be my guess anyway.

If anyone wants to know about real Cider, talk to a bloke from the West Country...I did a job in Dorset a few years back, the local workers took us 'Northerners' out for a Friday night drink...I can honestly say that I have never been that drunk before or since...pint after pint of cloudy loopy juice gave me a 3 day hangover

If anyone is ever in Bristol, try a pub called The Coronation Tap, and their famous 'Exhibition' cider. So terrible a weapon is it that it's only available in half pints. Many have tried, few have conquered.

THIS GUY!?
Upstaged by ICE?

 Never seen these before today, thanks for sharing they're funny.

Strongbow was what you drank after school to get pissed on the cheap. The homeless man's choice of drink (after Tenants lager of course).

Good to see they're selling it to America as a posh, classy option.
