No real question about who were the most immature

Brawl erupts at Calif. kindergarten graduation
School placed on lockdown after fight involving 20 adults; 2 women held

VICTORVILLE, Calif. - Two women have been arrested following a parents' brawl that interrupted a Southern California kindergarten graduation ceremony, authorities said.

School officials placed Puesta del Sol Elementary in the desert town of Victorville on lockdown Wednesday morning after a fight broke out among a group of parents.

The San Bernardino County sheriff's department says witnesses told deputies several mothers were involved in an argument and it got physical in a field near the ceremony. Several men then jumped into the fray and the incident turned into a brawl.

A deputy later arrested two people on suspicion of being a disruptive presence at a school. Witnesses said they were the main instigators. In all, 20 adults were identified in the brawl. A school district official said there could be more arrests.

No injuries were reported.

They aren't unusual. I didn't have one but most of my cousins had one. It depends on the school system. I've seen many references or scenes of those, and even cards for them.

No real question about who were the most immature

No question at all. Sadly, it's not that unusual for children to be more mature than their parents. Such excellent behaviour these parents are modelling for their kids, eh? :vulcan:

There are kindergarten graduations?!

Mine did; it was a Montessouri school that ended with kindergarten, hence the ceremony. I recall that we sang "Tomorrow" from Annie.

My kindergarten graduation was the only time I ever wore a cap and gown because neither my middle or high schools used them in the commencement ceremonies, and I didn't bother to attend my college graduation at all. I actually still have the tassel, with the little '82 charm on it.

I'd probably pick fights at kindergarten graduations if I had to live in Victorville too.

"Keptin, this is the garden spot of Victorville."

Interesting, so how many does it take to move it from a fight to a brawl? I would guess anywhere from 7 to 20 people.

Was at my daughter's kindergarten graduation yesterday. Luckily no brawls, but then the father of one of the boys is a policeman, so it would end pretty quick even if it did start!

Yes it is terrible to see this happening in front of little children.
This type of thing will encourage children to think this is the right way to behave.
with each other.
I wonder what or who started first to get this far where it turned into a brawl.
This type of behavior is also seen at local football matches where parents get too involved in there childrens sport.

A brawl with no injuries?

That just means there were no injuries that required medical attention. It was probably minor scrapes and bruises at worst.

In all likelihood this was probably just a bunch of assholes pushing and getting in each other's faces to look tough without actually throwing a punch.

That's actually adorable and cool all at the same time. I went to Montessori for preschool but started K in the public school system. My siblings were both at Montessori longer, but I don't think they had a graduation, probably because they went longer than kindergarten.
