Found some details since my incorrectly posted thread (pasted wrong Tweet). So looks like you can now get Showtime as an extension of P+, but you can also keep getting P+ without Showtime content. Makes sense, and doesn't lead to a price increase for those that don't need it.

Still, I wonder what it does to Showtime's sports division. Currently they have no live streaming of sports, and put them up on the service 24 hours after air-time. I wonder if that practice will continue on P+, who DO have live streaming capability.

Pretty soon all these services will merge into one combined service.

Kind of like…satellite or cable TV.

It's an amusing cycle to watch. I recall complaints about too many channels and not anything watch and why pay for this whole package, and cord cutting, etc. Now, it's there is too many streaming services, why are there so many, why do I have to have so many subscriptions?

Ten years later: why is it bundled all together?

And the cycle repeats.

The upside is that these services are offering discounted rates for the whole year so they can show off how many subscribers they have to advertisers. I got Peacock and AMC+ for $20 apiece for the whole year.

I got paramount Plus and peacock free lol
Paramount from t mobile and peacock from spectrum.

Oh yeah. I forgot I had P+ free. Also have Hulu for $12 for the year. Still a 10th of the price of cable nowadays.
