Spoilers Paradise (Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, James Marsden) | Hulu

Been busy so I only just got around to last week's episode along with this week's.

I loved the intensity of "The Day" and found its directing sharp, focused, and devastating. I was more engaged with the end-of-the-world playing out at the White House than I ever was with the melodrama of Paradise.

That said, the killer reveal was a neat surprise, if still a bit corny. About par for the course for this show.

Probably won't bother with the second season but we'll see.

I will give the show its props where they are due: I adore how wonderfully psychotic Jane turned out to be. :lol:
 
If you don't have Hulu/Disney, ABC is airing Paradise starting tonight. I wonder how much will be edited/censored. There are already built-in commercial break spots in every episode.

Oh, no, there's something dangerous about the bunker itself! And Sinatra is using it for personal gain! OMGZ!1!

...and the outside world looks pretty peachy for the post-apocalypse but I'm sure there's some great and horrible catch.
 
First three episodes of season 2 are up. You're going to want to watch them all because it takes all three to catch you up on everybody.

Non sarcastically, thanks for the tip. The thing is, my wife and I watch in the evening, but will only be able to do 1 episode at a time. But that will help if my wife has questions.
 
I only just finished the third episode and I think I'm done. So much of this shit happens only because people keep doing dumb shit and the show pretends everyone is playing 4-D chess. It's trashy melodrama masquerading as high art. Big fucking meh.

I only kept up with it because of the stellar cast but they can only do so much with this crap. And don't get me started with the new characters. Ugh.
 
I did not see that coming! All I know is that if that horse dies, Imma gonna cry ugly. Similar to the way I did, watching Dances With Wolves.
 
So we can dispose of thinking that this is hard science, now that there are Magic Babies?

I swear that this was the same shit that rotted out the hollow of V, but at at least they don't have to go through the over night metamorphosis into a sexy teenager.

Oh, lordy. I'm glad I bailed. Feels like Designated Survivor all over again (and I know I've said that before).
 
The problem with Designated Survivor was how stupid the actual politics part was. Without the conspiracy, there was nowhere to go.
