Palin steps down as governor

God I love this woman.

One can only hope that hot little tart Sarah Palin resigned to follow her life long calling - serving me drinks in as little clothing as possible and licking my asshole with that sumptuous mouth of hers upon request.
A little too much information there.
I didn't ask!

Anyways, that was the PG version.

Did you see that infamous Katie Couric interview?

Yeah--"Hey Sarah, what magazines do you read?"

WHO--CARES???

Katie also asked the same question on abortion over and over, even though Sarah already answered it.

And about Supreme Court decisions that Sarah disagreed with--c'mon, you want her to name names? She already said what kind of rulings she would disagree with--Katie's desired answers are just minutia.

BTW, if you watch Sarah's interview with Greta van Susteran, she does choose to answer those questions--because she knows Greta's not Miss I'm-gonna-trap-you-up-if-it's-the-last-thing-I-do.

Hey I don't care about the magazine part either. That much we can agree on. What does concern me is what she didn't seem to know about legislative or judicial decisions. She didn't even seem to know what the Bush Doctrine was really about. That's actually important, for a GOP candidate in particular. Being clear on Supreme Court decisions would be important for ANY politician, but especially one who was seeking to become one heartbeat away from the Presidency. So, hell yes, I want her to name names.

When I referred to the Katie Couric interview, I was still talking about Palin's own incoherency. It's the way she tends to move from topic to topic like she's just blurting out whatever words pop into her head at that given moment. The result is an endless stream of talking points but very few clear ideas. We don't need people like that holding any sort of political office.

And as for Greta not being the type of reporter who won't trap her guests.... I don't even know where to begin with how wrong that statement is. :wtf:

She didn't even seem to know what the Bush Doctrine was really about.

Neither did Charlie Gibson. Charles Krauthhammer, who invented the term, has since made a statement on this matter:

Being clear on Supreme Court decisions would be important for ANY politician, but especially one who was seeking to become one heartbeat away from the Presidency.

His hands notwithstanding, McCain is quite healthy for his age.

And again...the Greta interview has her answer on the matter.

Greta does not conduct interviews with the pre-set intention of trap-setting. She asks the tough questions, but it's for the sake of getting the truth, not making every effort to paint the guest as a fool.

Wow, who knew Katie Couric was such a powerful journalist that she can capture people in her web and make them say all sorts of things? Good God, I'd be surprised if Couric could spell her own name. I could survive an interview with her but apparently it's all too much for Palin.

Palin just wants it both ways. I however just want to give it to her one way. In the arse. Man that chick is so hot.

Garak has some "gotcha" questions for Palin.

You should see the 'enhanced interrogation techniques' I have lined up for her. :D

That Katie Couric was so soft it wasn't even fair. It was under-handed ptich, softball. Shit. It was damn-near T-Ball!

"What media do you read?"

Yeah. A pretty damn lame question, but you know what? Sarah COULDN'T ANSWER IT! Instead of simply saying, "The New York Times" or the "Wasilla Gazette" that's printed on the back of a diner menu/placemat she does the good-old Palin stand-by of going into some rambling, non-sensical, diatribe about nothing! She goes into some dialogue about how Alaska isn't some wasteland cut-off from the world. Oh, and she reads "all kinds" of media. She couldn't answer the simple question of what media she reads!

It was a lame-duck question, but she STILL COULDN'T ANSWER IT!

And, yeah, the "I can see Russia from my house!" line was done by SNL and Tina Fey, but Palin DID suggest that she had foreign-policy experience because Alaska sharea a border with Canada and there's a tiny island on the western-edge of Alaska's waters from which you can see a slight LESS tiny island that happens to be in Russia's waters and that that gave her foreign policy experience, because she watches over Russia. And that when Putin flies to America has plane goes over Alaska.

The woman was a nut, and her resignation speech I think shows more than anything else, now, that it wasn't her "handlers" keeping her too restrained/unprepared. She really is that out of it. She gave a 10+ minute long speech the other day annoucing her resignation. I've never heard a person speak for that long and not say anything!!!!

She's trying to win people with hokum and charm. An astonishingly large number of people fell for that in 2000. They've learned their lesson now.

^If you were to actually see the Greta interview, you would notice that she does answer the "magazine" question.

Time, Newsweek, etc.

She did the Greta interview AFTER the Couric one, right? After she had already fucked-up, learned to not give non-answers to basic questions and had time to prepare and rehearse answers, oh, and also when Daddy McCain decided he best sit with her to make sure she doesn't do/say anything stupid?

Yeah, I don't care.
