Over A Torrent Sea Summary

RikerLover

I know from previous threads that Amazon's summary and the summary in Simon & Schuster's catalog for Over a Torrent Sea are exaggerated and/or inaccurate. Does anyone know when the "official" summary will be out? If I recall correctly, A Singular Destiny's summary was out before Lost Souls came out. Could the delay be related to the layoffs at S&S? If so, I totally understand and will continue to be patient

Yeah, I've actually been wondering this myself. It seems like it's taking longer than usual to get the official description.

That's because we hate Star Trek fans and want you all to suffer. *nods*

I thought that was why we wrote the books...

Oh just go back to cleaning up after David Mack will you, cause I think you missed a couple hundred or so bodies.
Couple hundred?? I saw a few planets rolling around in the mud that need cleaning up, sheesh ;)

When is the OATS summary coming out anyways? and I'll wait to read it before I say it's porridge.

I'm thinking that if they were going to give us an answer we would have gotten it by now.

Well, I would imagine the delay has to do with the fact that Margaret has a lot of other issues on her mind these days, what with having to take over Marco's projects as well as her own. The important stuff -- getting the books written and edited and cover images created and printing handled and so forth -- is getting done, but posting official blurbs online is more of a luxury.

Vaguely related question - will you also be posting annotations for OATS once it's published? I very much enjoyed reading the ones you've posted so far.

I figured that might be the reason. I also thought it was possible that Simon & Schuster's website update might also be the reason.

If Margaret ever comes here in her spare time, if she has any these days, and if I ask nicely do you think she'll let you (Christopher) post the official summary? Pretty please.
