Sex wasn't recreational back then like it is now.

It was just the nicest way to make a man fall asleep at 8pm.

Are they going to have the gay rape in prison episode I wonder? That went on for paaaaaaaaages ugh.

Really so tropey trope trope, blech. I still haven't watched this and seeing this thread pop up again reminded me I should have a go, having read the first couple books.

It's better than "Blink" and you missed it rape on Reign.

Yes she was raped, but he came on the first stroke, and a day later she had him stabbed in the neck till he was dead.

I really enjoyed the first eight episodes. It's beautifully shot and its fantastic at keeping a feeling of tension and ever-present danger even in the most innocuous scenes. The accompanying podcast with Ron Moore is just icing on the cake.

April's going to be a busy month for returning shows: Mad Men, Outlander and Game of Thrones will all be competing for my attention on the DVR. :D

Depends if the scene happens before or after the wedding though given the shitstorm after GoT had it's own rape scene I don't think the producers would want to touch it with a 40 foot caber.
