It also seems to be a blatant ripoff of something that was pitched to SciFi a couple of years ago and rejected as "too expensive" -- but now SyFy is doing it anyway, and the original folks have been doing a web-based version of their original idea for some time.

SyFy needs a kick in the corporate nads.

I watched the whole episode.

Still thought it was crap, and canceled any future recordings from my DVR.

If there's going to be a parody, can we at least get Trippin' the Rift back instead of this crap?

Or how about Going Boldly Nowhere, which is basically Galaxy Quest on TV done by the Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia gang (and wow, that show is really struggling to be funny anymore - high time they end it and transfer their energies to something new.)
