Actually, I was quite amazed that she got "Star Trek" out of the 15 to 30 seconds of the ad. It does say something that the filmmakers could capture the essence of Star Trek such that an infant could grasp it. Hopefully it says that the characters are true to themselves as we know them and not that the film is infantile.

For what it's worth, all of my kids –*aged 4 through 16 –*want to see this movie. It's definitely got a broad appeal.
