I thought Scott Bakula was a great Archer.

Although I wouldn't trade Scott for anyone, if I HAD to, I would've loved to see Mark Hamill play the role.

I think Peter Weller would have been awesome as Archer.

I kinda think ENT should have been the time for Trek's first Hispanic/Latino captain (not including any secondary characters I'm not remembering). TPTB kind of missed the boat by going with a generic white guy. Not that I don't like Bakula, mind you.

To me Scott Bakula was/is Captain Archer, just as Patrick Stewart was/is Captain Picard, just as the other actors who played the roles of Starfleet Captains in their series.
