Not sure when the Leverage book is coming out. The manuscript isn't due until September, so probably not for awhile.

No idea if they're 100% legit, but Amazon has dates for all three Leverage novels now:

Greg's Leverage novel The Bestseller Job is slated for May 7th 2013, KRAD's The Zoo Job is scheduled for March 5th 2013 and Matt Forbeck's The Con Job for December 31st 2012.

I still say you'd do a brilliant job with Splinter Cell and Terminator, though.

I'd love to see some Serenity/Firefly novels from KRAD. His take on the Serenity novelization was shiny as hell, dong ma?

I'd love to see some Serenity/Firefly novels from KRAD. His take on the Serenity novelization was shiny as hell, dong ma?

He was actually going to do one once he finished the novelization, but it was cancelled. I don't know how far he got before he had to stop.

^What I recall is that the outlines were submitted to Whedon for approval but no approval ever came and the project was dropped. So nothing would've gotten beyond the outline stage.

Christopher has the right of it. Pocket had a license to do Firefly novels, but Whedon wasn't interested so he had the contract canceled. None of the proposals got past the proposal stage.

I later cannibalized my Firefly outline and used parts of it for my Terminator book. Waste not, want not!

Yeah, that's what he told me when I was talking with him at Fencon a couple of years ago.
