OT: Vote for the Unreality SF - Media Tie-In Story of the year

Cool. I was actually just there and the site is screw up right now, so couldn't do much.

^ My thanks to all who voted for Gods of Night. It was a very close poll, and every vote truly was needed: fewer than 60 votes separated first place from sixth place; only 14 votes made the difference between first and second, and a single vote made the difference between second and third. This thing really could have gone any which way.

At the moment, I feel very … lucky. Had the polls been open another hour, or an hour less, the results could have been quite different.

I just want to add that I feel honored that my book shared space on the ballot with nine other equally deserving works by such talented writers.

Gracias again, and a tip of my hat to all the other nominated scribes.

Harrumph. I only ever read two of the Happy Days novels (well, they were written by the guy who wrote the Get Smart novels, and I liked those), two of the Starsky and Hutch novels, and maybe three or four of the Dirty Harry novels. And I sought out, bought, and read the Blake's 7 novels Afterlife and Avon: A Terrible Aspect despite all the warnings of their awfulness, which proved to be understatements. Problem? I don't have a problem.

First things first, belated congrats to all the nominees, and to the winner.

But far more importantly, am I the only one on here who's read a Fantasy Island novel (the one with the racecar driver in story A and the hooker in story B, or was that the other way around?), and a Brady Bunch novel (a cruise through the Panama Canal -- with a mystery!), and a Partridge Family novel (Keith gets kidnapped!)? And who owns five, count 'em, five Charlie's Angels novels?

Bunch of tie-in rookies.....

FYI. I got to here before my brain exploded.

I think one of my sisters had a Brady Bunch novel. Or a Partridge Family novel. I vaguely remember seeing the Charlie's Angels books, but I don't think I read any. I don't remember Fantasy Island novels at all, though... looks like there were two of them, according to the amazing UK Sci-Fi TV Book Guide.

But worry not everyone... (all together now) THEY SAVED DAYTON'S BRAIN!!!!

I'm torn between, "How did they find it? and They make boxes that small?

Which should I choose? ;)

I doubt there would be any pummeling involved. He knows how to use a gun.
