OT: Boogie Knights concert in Baltimore on 8 November

In one week, the Boogie Knights--a parody band that includes Trek novelist Keith R.A. DeCandido on percussion--will be playing a charity concert in Baltimore on Saturday 8 November 2008 at the Musical Artists Theatre.

Admission is $10, and all proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer, in the name of our late squire Robbie Greenberger. Robbie's father, Trek author Bob Greenberger, will be serving as MC for the evening.

Directions:
From Interstate-95:
Take Exit 55 (in Maryland), stay on Key Highway north, for 1/2 mile.
Turn left at traffic light onto Lawrence Street for 2 blocks.
Turn right at traffic light onto E. Fort Avenue for 9 blocks.
Turn left onto Battery Avenue. Theater entrance is on the right.

From Downtown Baltimore:
Travel South on Light Street, Route 2 southbound.
From Inner Harbor (Science Museum) go 1/2 mile.
Turn left onto E. Fort Avenue for 4 blocks.
Turn right onto Battery Avenue. Theater entrance is on the right.

From Route 2 / Hanover Street Northbound:
Cross under I-95. Go 5 blocks.
Turn right onto E. Fort Avenue for 10 blocks.
Turn right onto Battery Avenue. Theater entrance is on the right.

Parking:
On street parking is free in the neighborhood of the theater. Free parking is also available in a nearby lot -- please drive by the theater and ask the attendant for a parking permit and directions to the lot. If you drive, please allow extra time for parking.

Excellent! I live just north of Baltimore, so I'll be there, KRAD. Oh, and if you want some radio play, I'm the Operations Manager of a public station, so, I can hook you guys up. :-)

EDIT: Err... I'll be there if I can swing it. I'm supposed to be covering the MD Irish Festival this coming weekend. I'm sure a lot of folks who would have come to see the Boogie Knights will be at the Fest... bad timing, sirrah. :-\
