Organizing Trek Stories and Content

Is there a way to change the color for broken links? The red is hard to read on the grey background.
If you use the generally superior MonoBook design (which makes Wikis look more like Wikipedia) you get a white background. I'd opt to change that at some point, though.

I've managed to suss it, I've gone for yellow/gold for the broken links at the moment. It's certainly easier on the eye than the red. :ack:

Having been away from wiki's for over five years now, it's surprising how much I've remembered, and how much they've changed it.

Every time I read another article about how smoothly Wookieepedia resolves these sorts of conflicts, I get more frustrated that Star Trek fandom can't get its act together on the equivalent wiki(s) devoted to tie-ins.
Well, they had a somewhat easier task, given that the old EU was at least trying to maintain continuity. But I actually though the EU/Legends/New Canon switchover was handled poorly-- the old EU tabs were the defaults for far too long, right up until the release of The Force Awakens.

And in many cases, the Legends article is still the superior version in regards to information that also applies to the new canon. I keep wanting to just copy-and-paste the "Behind the Scenes" sections into the corresponding canon articles, but I've blundered into enough wiki-cliques to assume that if there are so many cases where it hasn't already happened, there could be a reason.

If others are interested in participating, I'd love to work with you all on creating a wiki that is fit for purpose. The wiki can be found at http://memory-omega.wikia.com/wiki/Memory_Omega_Wiki. I've gone with the name Memory Omega, based off of the David Mack Mirror Universe novels.

This is awesome! And great name, too. I'll start providing my copy-editing skills.

I know just the site on where to share this, too.
