Good idea, if they do it?

My network port is trembling slightly.

they don't even take open submissions for EPISODE ideas, much less designing a whole new series. Even if it was semi-open, positive they'd be looking at established show runners and/or writers/directors, not random people with laptops...

This is a clean forum, there are specialist forums you can sign upto for that sort of stuff.

They no longer do (not since the mid 90s, IIRC). A couple of them come here, but stay well clear of this forum (plus fanfic). Creates legal issues if they use something they saw here, and if they create something similar, and can be shown to have been here, same trouble, so they mostly steer clear. Besides, with most of what is posted in this forum, they'd only be here for a laugh anyway...

I laugh at what I see here. That's why I come here. For a laugh. Not cos I'm desperate for ideas or anything. I laugh. Bit like Hedly from 'Blazing Saddles'.
