My company are in the final stages of shifting buildings and once that happens, my connection to old Who will be gone.
In the 1960s, Dr Who was broadcast and stored out of the building we're shifting out of. Due to the bicycling process of films, this city was the last place the films resided in New Zealand before being shipped off to the BBC/Singapore/wherever.
Every time we shift a bookcase or filing cabinet I have a quick peek behind to see if anything is left (seriously, some of the fixtures here are 50+ years old). So far nothing.
You never know. After all the offices and edit suites are removed we have to literally gut the place. Hopefully we might find something then.
Or not. Who knows...
