For those that attend comicons or conventions, are any of you going to be doing any of the online options that seem to be cropping up?
Do these excite you at all or is it just not the same so why bother?
San Diego comicon is starting to announce panels, and galaxycon has been doing things for a little bit now. I'm not quite sure about them just yet. I know it's the best that can be done right now, and I applaud the effort. But I liked going to meet and talk to vendors, comic creators and the occasional celebrity so I'm just not quite sure how sold I am on these. A mailed in autograph just doesn't have the same feel as getting a comic signed in person by your favourite creator as you discuss things.
