One Thing Trek Lit Needs to Address...

That being, what happened to the Xindi after Starfleet stopped their weapon in Earth orbit? Since they weren't all that far from Earth, especially in 23rd or 24th century terms, did they not want to have any contact with the Federation? Did they have any role in the Earth/Romulan war? Were they ever involved in the founding of the Federation? I would have found it odd if Archer didn't at least try and ask the Xindi for help, after he essentially saved their species.

Someone could probably devote an entire book to where the Xindi went from the time of ENT all the way through to the current post-NEM era.

PS- If anyone takes this idea, I would at least like an acknowledgement in the book.

I dunno ... I've lived this long without knowing what happened to the Xindi. They were headed for Civil War. I guess that's as good a guess as any.

The Xindi had lost their homeworld and had a whole society to rebuild. It's quite plausible, even likely, that the work of rebuilding their society on a new world would occupy them for more than 200 years, minimizing their involvement in interstellar affairs.

However, The Sky's the Limit did establish that the UFP's Secretary for Science and Space Exploration as of late 2363 was a Xindi reptilian.

Did we ever find out who future guy was? Man, I can't even remember they they wrapped up the temporal cold war right or not.

They more or less ended the TPC storyline in the 2 part season 4 premier. And no they never did explain who/what Future Guy was.:scream:

Its plausable that the Xindi became recluse due to their civil war and stayed out of everything kinda like the Baku did. I am sure some day someone will address them and what happened after Enterprise

So how 'bout a novel where we find out?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a book that explained what the hell that was all about. ;)

btw, what's TPC? i thought it was TCW, temporal cold war.

Also, she was mentioned as being from New Xindus, so there's evidently a new homeworld of some sort.
