One or more books at a time

I always have an indeterminate number of books going on.

Until you observe them and the probability waveform collapses?
It's weird how they have no genre until I open them.

I usually have several books going at once. There's any new books I get from the library, that's priority one. Then I usually have an old Star Wars book I've re-reading that's on the back burner between new books; I think I've been re-reading the NJO books for over a year now! :p

I only generally read one book at a time, but recently there were three books on various Art topics on my bedside table, since the subject matters overlapped somewhat so it was useful to cross-reference a bit.

On a Sunday I quite often sit with three or four books around me and read a chapter from each, round and round.

Whilst listening to the radio at the same time.

And sometimes with the tv on mute too.

Too much head space... too little time.

GREAT :D

I am always reading more than one book during the day. I have at least one at my office desk to pick up during breaks. I have a bedtime book that is of mild subject matter on my nightstand. Exciting material makes it more difficult to get to sleep. I have a paperback in my purse for unexpected opportunities to read. I pick up "tv books" at the library for flipping through while the tv is on.

Usually only one, but occasionally two. Right now, just one, with one waiting in the wings until I get the time/motivation to pick it up, and another that must wait until I finish the current one.

Wow, you ready for this. I have:

The Histories - Polybius
On the Life of the Caesars - Seutonius
The Age of Alexander: Nine Greek Lives - Plutarch
Conquest of Gaul - Julius Caesar
History of the Peloponnesian War - Thucydides

And that is just my classics....

I hear the Conquest of Gaul was in three parts is that true?

;)

for me a book is more then a book it can be like the cipher's code ring I use to decode God's mind or the warmth of a good fire as it gets tossed into it.

I once defaced a complete almost complete thousand plus page accounting text with images on each page (; -in pen- :)

then again if there are doubles of say the artist manual version 1994 book in my library I will use one as a place to put pastel works on a page by page construction not that there is a lack of paper in my apartment but that there is a lack of paper in my apartment usually

right now I am musing over the book of lies..,
thinking about the higher orders of the golden dawn
re-realizing jack the bodyless by Julian May

considering what was clipped out of last weeks times

but now in creation format form I am divining angelical alphabets in mandarin typesk to form word creations kinds that can be considered choreographical dialogs with the futurists of tomorrow.

I usually do 2 books. One in the living room while I eat my lunch, and one in the bathroom. I put the thicker book in the bathroom because it gets read a lot more. :)

I read. Sometimes I read every novel in front of me. Sometimes its one book, sometimes its many. I am also the guy that walks and reads at the same time.

Usually I'll have a minimum of 2 on the go, one to read in bed, one to read in the living room, with one taking most of my focus... Usually the one in the living room.
Right now I can't seem to concentrate long enough to make any headway with 1 never mind 2. I did start reading The Strain and made it about 200-300 pages in and now I can't concentrate to finish it.
